Ballistic Effects Research, Test, and Consulting
Loki performs engineering-level (not certification or qualification) ballistic testing at its Missouri headquarters. Loki’s ability to quickly tailor ammunition to ballistic specifications and then to shoot tests at onsite facilities has helped several small businesses across the US. They make much smaller investments of time and money to evaluate armor designs than if the companies had to rely on larger certification test sites. In addition to shooting tests that meet National Institutes of Justice (NIJ), Underwriters’ Laboratories (UL), and ASTM International specifications, Loki excels in designing and conducting tests that duplicate actual physical security situations. Loki offers a wide range of test calibers (others may be available upon request):
- Handgun – .22 LR, .380 ACP, 9 mm Luger, .38 S&W Special, .357 Magnum, .40 S&W, .44 S&W Spl, .44 Remington Magnum, .45 ACP, .45 Colt, .454 Casull, and .460 S&W Magnum
