R&D in Explosives Engineering

Loki has been very receptive to teaming with other small businesses as well as various government agencies and universities.

Some of the companies with which Loki has teamed on projects and project proposals are TRS Technologies in State College, Pennsylvania; Teledyne Solutions in Huntsville, Alabama; Accurate Automation in Chattanooga, Tennessee; Ktech in Albuquerque, New Mexico; Mission Research in Albuquerque, New Mexico; Raytheon in Albuquerque, New Mexico; Radiance Technologies in Huntsville, Alabama; Tesla Laboratories in Arlington, Virginia; Tanner Research in Monrovia, California; and Directed Energy Technologies in Sumerduck, Virginia.

Loki also has worked extensively through its association with the Missouri University of Science & Technology on the research, test, and evaluation of new materials for blast-resistant civil and military structures, blast-resistant structures themselves, taggant materials for high explosives, mining-related blasting engineering problems, the design of better underground blast barriers (stoppings) in coal mines, and the application of explosive energy to unusual challenges (defense against asteroid impact on Earth, for example).
